QUALITY

The Members of the EWA constitute a community of excellence. Leisure and adventure water parks that are EWA Members must meet high quality standards with regards to equipment, outlay of the facilities, and decoration. Accordingly, each Member operation shall implement the improvements resulting from technological progress in order to achieve maximum customer satisfaction.

Exchange of experience between suppliers and users is established through the admission of Supportive Members who are in the supply business for water parks.

INFORMING
PATRONS

The European Waterpark Association keeps the press and the general public informed on the range of services which its Member water parks provide, the exact locations, business hours and prices charged.

SECURITY FIRST

European Water Park Association Members ensure that their facilities are in line with the latest scientific findings on safety and correspond to safety rules.

EXCHANGE OF IDEAS BETWEEN MEMBERS
AND OTHER INTERNATIONAL ORGANIZATIONS

Not only do Members of the EWA meet on a regular basis in order to share experience gained, but communicate to one another court rulings and government orders received as well as decisons made by insurance companies, which are relevant not only to the case at hand, but may affect the water park business in general.

TRAINING

The European Waterpark Association organizes training courses and seminars. EWA promotes the teaching on various educational levels (vocational and technical schools, academies and universities) of subject matters dealing with the specific technical and commercial requirements of the leisure and adventure water park industry.

A COMMUNITY OF
PROTECTION

The European Waterpark Association makes every effort to protect patrons from unfair competition by operations that call themselves „adventure water parks” or similar and that may charge high entry fees, but do not meet the requisite quality standards for such a designation.

JOINT INTERESTS

EWA is the professional association of both indoor and outdoor leisure and adventure water parks and represents its Members’ interests on the level of the European Community administration. In cooperation with other occupational associations, it strives to put an end to the one-sided public sponsoring of certain sport activites and endeavors to promote a policy which is more in line with the actual leisure time needs of the general public.

SUPPORTING
INNOVATION

EWA supports anybody who, by introducing new projects, strives to improve the quality standard of the water park industry. EWA provides timely information on specialized products and services available for such projects. When in an advanced stage of planning, such enterprises may acquire Associate membership in the EWA and thus share the know-how of its Members and participate in their international contacts.
